Susan Schoen

Susan Schoen, beloved mother to Scott, Josh and Russ and grandmother to Samantha, Erica, Theo and Elyse passed away on September 9th, 2024.

She was born in Brooklyn, New York to Rose and Dave Zuckerman. Susan was a graduate of The City College of New York, where she met Larry, the love her life. She was a long time child protective social worker for Westchester County. Susan took joy in spending time with her family and her friends. She enjoyed playing poker and canasta, seeing Broadway shows and was an avid reader. She was extremely generous and would give you the food off her plate or the shirt off her back.

Described by others as a force of nature, Susan was preceded in death by her loving husband Larry and is survived by her sons, grandchildren and daughters in law.

 In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart Failure Society of America.

Services and burial will be in Connecticut
