Rose Sutton

Rose Mahana Sutton peacefully passed away on September 13, 2026 in St. Petersburg, Florida. She was born in New York City and then moved to Florida with her husband, Ralph Sutton. They were happily married for 51 years. She lived a full and joyful life for more than 103 years.

Rosie was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and grandmother. Religion was important to her, as was raising a loving family. Rosie was a kind person who always had a friendly smile and will be greatly missed.

Rose is survived by her children Leila (Chris) Canfield, Mozelle, Sam (Sonia), and Robert (Sheryl), and her grandchildren Sarah, Zachary, Elliot, Jack and Katerina.

Graveside service will be 11AM Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at Chapel Hill Memorial Park, 12905 Wild Acres Road, Largo Florida.

The family will be sitting shiva on Wednesday and Thursday.

Wednesday evening the family will join Congregation B'nai Israel minyan in the Grossman Family Chapel, 300 58th Street North, St. Petersburg FL at 6:30pm.

Thursday night the family will observe shiva at Menorah Life’s Toby Weinman ALF at 6:00pm. Located at 255 59th St N, Saint Petersburg, FL 33710.
