Ronald Lev Miller, 82, of Clearwater, passed away October 19, 2026.

Ron was born in Cleveland, Ohio, where he began a life defined by warmth, kindness, and deep connections. Ron was a gentle, soft-spoken man with a big heart and a genuine nature that made people feel instantly comfortable around him. A true teddy bear in every sense of the word, making friends came naturally to him. Whether through school, work, temple, or simply crossing paths in everyday life, Ron had a gift for turning a simple introduction into a friendship, and a friendship into a bond that lasted a lifetime.

Ron worked in finance as a business broker, a career that brought him together with many wonderful people. For more than 15 years, he was part of a networking group where he worked closely with friends who became an important part of his life. The relationships he built over the years meant a great deal to him, and he treasured the people who shared his professional journey.

Ron was also a deeply philanthropic man who believed in giving back and helping others. His generosity was another reflection of his kind heart and the genuine care he had for the people around him. Whether through his professional relationships, his friendships, or his support of community causes, Ron understood the importance of making a difference in the lives of those around him.

Ron also enjoyed traveling and making memories along the way. He loved visiting family in Los Angeles, taking in the beauty of Banff National Park and Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada, and spending time in Napa Valley. Whether enjoying a beautiful destination or catching up with people he cared about, Ron appreciated the experiences and connections that made life special.

When he wasn't working or traveling, Ron enjoyed playing tennis and collecting fine writing instruments. But perhaps his greatest collection was the one that mattered most to him: his friends. He had a rare gift for bringing people into his life and keeping them there, often for decades. Those friendships were a reflection of the man he was—kind, loyal, genuine, and always happy to make room for one more person in his circle.

Ron is survived by his loving wife, Sheila, son, Gabe, and daughter-in-law, Heidi; his beloved grandchildren, Ella and Milo; his sister, Marcy Lewis; his sisters-in-law, Caryn Miller and Victoria Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind an extraordinary group of lifelong friends who were an important part of his life and who will miss him dearly.

Ron will be remembered for his gentle nature, his quiet warmth, his generosity, and his remarkable ability to bring people together. He never needed to be the loudest person in the room to make an impression. He simply showed up as himself, and that was more than enough.

In the end, Ron's life was measured not only by the places he traveled or the work he did, but by the people who were fortunate enough to know him. He leaves behind a loving family, a wide circle of friends, and countless memories that will continue to bring comfort and smiles to those who loved him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
