Jack Arnold Ozrowitz, born on September 24, 1930, passed away on July 18, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, humor, and determination. A proud Navy veteran, Jack served his country for four years, notably participating in operations during the Korean War. He often spoke of his time working in a print shop aboard a submarine in Naples, Italy, a period he cherished and wore his military service as a badge of honor.

Professionally, Jack was a dedicated district supervisor in the retail clothing industry, travelling across the country in support of his family. His unwavering commitment to their well-being drove him to undertake various jobs throughout his life, including working as a poker dealer, demonstrating a resourcefulness that defined his character. Jack's personality was a vibrant mix of humor and intelligence, always placing family first and epitomizing determination in every endeavor.

A man of diverse interests, Jack was an avid poker enthusiast and a passionate sports fan, with a particular affection for the Dodgers, his favorite team. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from watching classic black and white movies to engaging in puzzle games and word searches. In his later years, he delighted in playing games on his phone, bringing him both entertainment and comfort.

Jack's proudest accomplishments were undeniably rooted in his love for his family. His unwavering dedication to them was reflected in everything he did; family was always at the core of his life.

Jack is survived by his daughters, Sherry Thomas and Michelle Miller; sons-in-law, Jerol Thomas and Richard Miller; and granddaughters, Lucy Thomas and Richelle Miller. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Naomi Dube Ozrowitz, his sisters Charlotte Liroff and Martha Roseman.

A graveside service to honor his life will be held on July 22, 2025, at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, Florida, beginning at 10:30 AM. Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate Jack’s remarkable journey and the profound impact he had on all who knew him.
