A graduate of Penn State University, Iris earned a degree in elementary education. She began her professional journey as an educator, sculpting young minds with her dedication and care. However, it was in real estate that she truly made her mark, excelling in her career as a licensed real estate agent and leaving a lasting impact on the community she served.
Iris was not just a successful professional; she was also an adventurous spirit. Among her proudest accomplishments was being a licensed pilot, a testament to her determination and love for flying. She owned her own airplane, embracing the freedom of the skies and exploring new horizons. Iris's zest for life extended to her love of boating and traveling, pursuits that allowed her to experience the beauty of the world and share those adventures with her family.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Julie Hirschfield (Dr. Jeff) and Heidi Rosenthal, her son Scott Dyen (Anissa), her sister Cecelia Brown (Zane) and proud grandmother to seven grandchildren.
