Iris S. Dyen

Iris S. Dyen, a devoted mother, grandmother, and real estate agent, passed away on September 18, 2024 at her home in Largo, Florida, at the age of 83. Born on February 18, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA, Iris led a rich and diverse life that was defined by her passions and her family.

A graduate of Penn State University, Iris earned a degree in elementary education. She began her professional journey as an educator, sculpting young minds with her dedication and care. However, it was in real estate that she truly made her mark, excelling in her career as a licensed real estate agent and leaving a lasting impact on the community she served.

Iris was not just a successful professional; she was also an adventurous spirit. Among her proudest accomplishments was being a licensed pilot, a testament to her determination and love for flying. She owned her own airplane, embracing the freedom of the skies and exploring new horizons. Iris's zest for life extended to her love of boating and traveling, pursuits that allowed her to experience the beauty of the world and share those adventures with her family.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Julie Hirschfield (Dr. Jeff) and Heidi Rosenthal, her son Scott Dyen (Anissa), her sister Cecelia Brown (Zane) and proud grandmother to seven grandchildren.

Iris S. Dyen will be remembered for her vibrant personality, her unwavering commitment to her family, and her notable contributions to both her profession and her community. Her legacy of love, adventure, and excellence will continue to inspire all who knew her.
