Francine Wiggins, a beloved member of her family and community, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, in Largo, Florida. Born on September 10, 1956, in Brooklyn, New York, Fran was a remarkable individual whose spirit touched the lives of many.
A graduate of Boston University, Fran’s intellectual prowess was evident from a young age as she began college at just 16 years old. Her career began alongside her father at the PennySaver in New York, then expanded into marketing at Haugey Advertising in Boston. Her vibrant personality shone through in every aspect of her life, leaving a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know her.
Her interests were varied and brought her immense satisfaction. Fran loved to travel, spending time at the beach, and was an avid music enthusiast, with a special fondness for rock and roll. She enjoyed cooking and was a fan of crossword puzzles, often challenging herself with them. Fran’s love for life was evident in all that she did.
As a devoted member of Temple B’nai Israel, Fran found great joy in supporting her Jewish Community. Her presence will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Fran is survived by her loving husband, Ken Wiggins; her son, Brian Wiggins, her sister, Laura Solomon; and her stepchildren Rita Whitten, JR Wiggins, Carla Acree-Finger, and Malissa St. Clair. The impact she made on her family and friends will resonate forever.
