Eunice Rocklin (nee Rabinowitz) was born on October 1, 1938, in Worcester, South Africa, to Joseph “Alter” Rabinowitz and Sadie (nee Segal). She passed away peacefully on August 21, 2025, with her daughters at her side.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Brian Rocklin; her sister, Lucille Hart; brother-in-law, Mannie Hart; and niece, Leora Hart.

Over the past seven decades, Eunice made her home in Mossel Bay and Cape Town, South Africa; Palm Harbor, Florida; Minnetonka, Minnesota; and finally Los Angeles, California. No matter where she lived, Eunice created deep friendships and kept family ties strong across continents. She was the heart and glue of a large extended family that spanned the globe.

Eunice will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and loyal friend. She managed a medical office with great dedication and precision, admired for her work ethic and unwavering reliability. Beyond her professional life, she was renowned for her culinary talents—her South African biltong was treasured by all who were lucky enough to receive a bag, and her baking brought joy to countless gatherings.

Known for her boundless energy and generous spirit, Eunice touched many lives with her warmth and friendship. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Sharon Stillman (nee Rocklin) and Deborah Rocklin Israel; her son-in-law, Roland Israel; and her adoring grandchildren, Ellie, (Andrew Savitz), Jonah, (Anna Gordon), Sadie, Roan, and Rose.

Graveside service 2PM Monday, August 25, 2025 at Chapel Hill Memorial Park, 12905 Wild Acres Road, Largo.

After the service, the family invites you to join with them for tea in honor of Eunice. This will take place at the Clarion Inn and Suites Central Clearwater Beach, 20967 US Highway 19 North, Clearwater FL 33765.
