ELLIOTT ZERIVITZ passed away on Shabbat, January 17, 2026 on St. Pete Beach, FL, embraced by his loved ones and memories of his meaningful life. Elliott, born in 1929 to Anna Pariser and Joseph Zerivitz in Baltimore, MD, grew up as the youngest of five children in a traditional Jewish home and attended parochial schools. In the early 1950s, he served in the U.S. Army as a bakery instructor. In Baltimore, he worked in his father’s Pariser Bakery. After moving to Orlando, FL, in the 1960s, he owned and managed Golden Loaf Bakery with 135 employees and was deeply involved in the community, both civic and Jewish, serving on the Orange Blossom Trail Development Board, Kinneret Senior Housing Board, Chevra Kadisha, and as president of the Greater Orlando Jewish Federation.
Elliott is survived by Marcia Jo, his loving wife of 39 years; sons Kenn, Don, and Lee (Heidi); grandchildren Benjamin (Olivia) Theodore (Kayla O’Toole), Jake (Alexandra Kcomt), and Lily; stepchildren Marni Odom (Steve) and Matthew Kerstein (Mia Morisette); step- grandchildren Alexandra (Mikey Jung), Rachael Smith (Colin), and Benjamin, sister Grace in Jerusalem, many devoted nieces and nephews and their spouses, friends, and neighbors at Beau Monde Condominium, where he served on the board.
A graveside service will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Park in Largo, FL on Monday, January 19, 2026 at 11:30 am.
