Dianne (Pawlic, Powers) Tiffin was born in Illinois on July 21, 1945, the first child of Edward and Annette Mae Pawlic, with the family name later changed to Powers. She graduated from Berkley (Michigan) High School in 1963, then joined the 1964 US tour of the Ice Capades. With the earnings from ice skating she bought her first boat, Miss Capade, and enjoyed water skiing on one of the many smaller Michigan lakes. In 1968 she met and married Eldon Tiffin. Together they owned and operated Tiffin and Associates, an architecture firm, and Eldon Construction, a building company. They spent most of their married life in Rochester Hills, Michigan. They bought another boat and, through a succession of larger ones, enjoyed many years traveling the Great Lakes waterways. They divorced in 1994 and Dianne moved to St Petersburg, Florida, a few years later. She spent the end of her career as a receptionist at Menorah Manor (Menorah Life), where her warm smile and happy greetings welcomed all who worked, lived and visited there. Dianne passed peacefully at Menorah Life on September 9, 2025, with her brother by her side.
Dianne is survived by her brother, Scott Powers, her children, Lea (Bill) Pfeifer and Eric (Shona) Tiffin, and her grandchildren, Chloe and Ean Tiffin, and Cici and John Pfeifer. She is predeceased by her parents and her brother, Kenneth Powers, and by her ex-husband.
Heritage Funeral Care, David and Steven Gross, Directors, are serving the family.
