With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of Dennis Schulman, who left this world on 12/15/2025, at the age of 84. Born on 3/30/1941, in Sioux City Iowa. Dennis spent the majority of his life in Largo FL after escaping the cold of Chicago’s Blizzard of 79.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Anne Schulman. He is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Nancy Schulman; his three children and their spouses—Jeremy (Tess), Yosh (Nili Simhai) and Jennifer (Ron); and his adored grandchildren—Ronald, Dalia, and Tal. He is also survived by his sister Estelle Shukert, grateful to have had such a fine and loving brother, and her surviving children Ben, Jacob, Joe, Mort, Abe, Rebecca and their spouses with 20 grand and great grand nieces and nephews all of whom held a special place in his heart

Throughout his life, Dennis dedicated himself to the world of technology and the service of others. A talented computer consultant, he had a passion for the digital world, but his true joy came from making it accessible to others. He loved working with the elderly, patiently helping them get set up with computers and technology, ensuring they stayed connected to the world and their loved ones.

Dennis was a devoted and active member of the Congregation of Beth Shalom. He found great joy in singing in the choir and was a constant presence in the care of the synagogue itself, often helping with the setup and maintenance of the building when he was able. His commitment to his faith community was unwavering, and his contributions helped create a welcoming space for all.

His wry sense of humor and his affinity for unusual garage sale items will be forever missed. His family will forever carry his memory in their hearts, grateful for the immeasurable impact he had on their lives and those he helped.

Dennis’s battle with Alzheimer’s was faced with dignity and grace. His love for his grandchildren was easily apparent in how he crafted stories that highlighted how he delighted in their successes.

Donations may be made in his honor to the Congregation of Beth Shalom and the Alzheimer's Research Center.
